The "little boy" in the original clip
The small, round-faced dancer in the barn looks like a child to many viewers, but he is an AI-generated Rumpelstiltskin. There is no child actor behind him. Read about the character.
The real little boys
Once the meme spread, parents started filming their kids doing the dance: tip toeing down the hallway in a pair of grown-up Jordans several sizes too big, finger on lips, arms out. These videos are short, wholesome and very shareable, so they now show up next to the original whenever people search the meme.
How to film your kid's version
- Shoes: any pair of adult sneakers works; oversized is funnier.
- Moves: start with the shush to the camera, a cheeky grin, then slow tiptoe steps with arms out.
- Setting: a hallway or a room with a rug; a few cushions or a blanket can stand in for the straw.
- Sound: add "Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz" in TikTok or Reels and line the first step up with the hook.
Keep it safe
If you post a child online, keep it to family-friendly accounts, avoid showing your home address or school uniforms, and think about privacy settings.
